Purchase of various liquid chromatography and protein/vector purification systems, their installation, consumables, service and maintenance for installation at the new Gene Therapy Innovation and Manufacturing Centre in Sheffield between 2022 and 2027 The intention to award a contract as a 'Negotiated procedure without a prior call for competition' was previously published as a Voluntary ex ante transparency notice (reference: 2022/S 000-000544) on 7 January 2022. Regulation 32 of PCR 2015 was applied as in 32. (2) (b) (ii) and 32. (5) (a) The first purchase was for one 'AKTA Avant 150' for c£122k with up to 2 additional 'AKTA Avant 150's' and 3 x 'AKTA Pilot 600S's' possibly being purchased between 2022 and 2027 up to £950,000
