St Stephens Community Primary School - School Expansion Project

The Council seeks to appoint a suitably accredited and demonstrably experienced Principal Contractor to undertake the design and construction of a new single storey classroom block extension and associated accommodation including an undercroft external store, external link canopy, minor internal refurbishment within existing main school buildings and associated external works and services at St Stephens Community Primary School, Long Park Rd, Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 4AQ under an NEC 3 Engineering & Construction Contract (Option A) with secondary options and Z clauses as set out in the procurement documents. The design works are complete to a RIBA Stage 3 standard and the successful contractor will be required to undertake the necessary due diligence for and completion of the architectural, civil and structural engineering, MEP engineering, landscaping and such other design as is required to allow the complete construction of all parts of the works. The construction works shall comprise site works including site access roads, earthworks, enabling works, statutory services connections to existing, access roads, car parks, landscaping and drainage. Certain off site temporary and permanent works, including services, drainage and highways works are identified in the works information and will form part of the works. Additional information: The Council uses a web-based system on the South West Portal found at https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/ (Due North) to manage tender processes. New users to the system must register on this site to obtain a username and password before gaining access to the system and obtain the tender documentation. All interaction with the Council in respect of this requirement will be conducted through the Due North system.
