## Description

GOV\.UK Verify runs a Public Key Infrastructure \(PKI\) that enables them to issue, manage and revoke signing and encryption keys across the federation\. This is fundamental to the security of the service, protecting users from identity theft and Relying Parties from potential fraud\.
