Description

The aim of this outcomes-based procurement exercise is to initially provide a practical service to mainstream schools to build on Quality First Teaching and further develop whole school inclusive practice through a trauma and therapeutically informed approach. The successful provider will work in schools, actively modelling therapeutically informed interventions, developing whole school strategies and inclusive environments. Where additional needs are identified, the provider will support the school to work with external professionals and services, using existing referral pathways, in order to secure specialist input. For example SEND Support Services, Autism Team, Physiotherapy Team, Occupational Therapy Services, Speech and Language therapists, Vision Impairment Services, AAC, Teachers for the deaf, CAMHS and Social Care. This is not intended to replace therapies.
