Independent Domestic Abuse Advisory Services (BBCQ522445)

Description

The Council is seeking to enter into a contract with a suitably qualified organisation (or organisations in the event of a consortium) for the provision of support services to victims of domestic violence at the highest risk of homicide or serious harm. The service provides specialist independent support on a short-term crisis intervention and safety planning basis. IDVA’s are an integral part of the MARAC process, helping to keep victims of domestic abuse safe, supporting them to take action and ultimately working to reduce repeat incidences of domestic abuse and prevent further harm to victims and their families.
