***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded as a direct award under the CCS Legal Services Panel Framework RM6179, Lot 1. Brief Description of Requirement STFC Innovations Limited (SIL) is the Commercialisation arm of the Science and Technology Facilities Council. As such SIL has set up a number of spin-out companies as commercialisation vehicles for intellectual property developed at STFC in exchange for which SIL receives a shareholding in the spin-out company. SIL is responsible for a large part of the STFC commercial licensing both to spinouts and to industry although some of the STFC software is licensed directly from STFC. Our request for advice is to have access to overarching support for various activities. We must respond to funding rounds for our existing portfolio of spin out companies where SIL is a shareholder and often have to review or draft related agreements with a short turnaround. We will also be setting up at least one spinout this year so will be looking for support setting up the company.
