## Description

Derbyshire Dales District Council \(The Council\) is seeking a concessionaire to provide and operate a safe, welcoming and friendly children's funfair every Saturday and Sunday during the period of the Matlock Bath Illuminations which takes place annually during September and October\. The 2024 event dates are 7 September to 27 October\. The event dates for the subsequent years shall be provided to the concessionaire at a later date\.\\r \\r Matlock Bath Illuminations is a family event which operates in Derwent Gardens located in Matlock Bath, the event sells approximately 45,000 tickets during the season \(dependant on weather conditions\), with a maximum capacity of 4500 per evening\. \\r \\r This contract is being let as a concession arrangement, for which the Concessionaire shall offer a fixed concession fee to the Council as part of the tender response\.\\r \\r The initial contract period is 3 years and 3 months; the contract is estimated to commence 19 August 2024 and expire 7 November 2027\.\\r \\r There will be an option to extend the contract for 2 years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs\. \\r Additional information: The procurement is being managed electronically, using the councils e-tendering system, please select the link above which will transfer you to the Council's e-tendering system where you can register your interest and access the documents\.The council will only accept expressions of interest through the e-tendering system\.
