KMCMP-005 Levelling Up Fund (Round 2) Business Case

The Government announced support for initiatives that have a visible impact on people and their communities through the Levelling Up Fund. This includes a range of high value local investment priorities, including local transport schemes, urban regeneration projects and cultural assets.\r Kirklees Council were placed in category 2 following an assessment of need undertaken by MHCLG. As such the Council has identified the Huddersfield New Market project to pursue funding from Round 2.\r The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant / consortia to assist in the preparation of a Business Case "Green Book" to be submitted to the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) at the appropriate time, assumed to be towards the end of 2021 or early 2022. We understand that the submission documents will be similar to those provided for the Round 1 bids.
