## Description

A contract has been awarded for the programme: Continuing Professional Development \(CPD\) for advanced practitioners in the Further Education and Training sector\. The roles of advanced practitioners \(APs\) in this context are diverse but "are commonly described as a peer-to-peer support structure where \(mostly\) active practising teachers or tutors provide advice and guidance focused on improving teaching, learning and assessment" \(Tyler et al, 2017, p\. 2\)\. This programme offers a range of CPD activities for aspiring advanced practitioners, those in advanced practitioner roles \(or advanced practitioner-type roles\) and experienced advanced practitioners \(for example, alumni of the Education and Training Foundation \(ETF\) advanced practitioner programme or Advanced Teacher Status - ATS\)\.
