Independent Verification

Description

E.L.M. requires independent verification on the data and assumptions that are used in IF+C payment calculations. The overall verification work is expected to include the following: 1) Undertake verification of the Building Block data collected so far. These are the input tabs in the Payments Calculator and have an accompanying report with sources and assumptions used. 2) Undertake verification of SFI payment rates. The total number of actions we expect to need this verification on for SFI is 50. This is an estimate based on the SFI national pilot standards and the overlap with CS. 3) Undertake verification on the methodology for 'paying at an appropriate point on the cost curve' for SFI . 4) Undertake verification of the CS payment rates, including assumptions used to compile and update the IF+C calculations. These have been taken from the 2013 calculations for CS options, with appropriate updates applied. The overall verification work could be extended/adapted to reflect WTO requirements.
