## Description

5GIRs is part of our wider programme to drive 5G adoption, with a focus on key sectors where there is local capability and opportunities\. Funding will enable places throughout the UK to unlock opportunities across the digital economy which utilise advanced wireless connectivity\. Advanced Wireless/5G enable existing air source heat pumps across social housing piloting in Wigan and Chorlton suitable homes with ASHP\. The connectivity solution is provided under CCS RM6261 framework working in partnership with VMO2\.
