T1004 STEPS Level 6 Life Sciences

Description

The University of Essex is seeking tenders for a project to work within the Biological Sciences Building. The works for the STEPS project comprise of the stripping out of an existing teaching lab on the 6th floor of the Life Sciences, with benches and a number of fume cupboards and associated mechanical and electrical services to be removed along with ceilings and walls. Demolition of block and stud walls, the removal of single glazed windows and install new curtain walling. New wall construction, door sets, floor coverings and suspended ceilings. New lab benching. Install new mechanical and electrical services, including a large electrical incoming main.
