Description

NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) are working on behalf of NHS Halton CCG who wish to make a direct award (without a competitive procurement process) for a Social Prescribing Link Worker Service for people living in the CCG area. The Halton Social Prescribing Link-Worker Service will aim to assist people in the Borough of Halton by referring them to local, non-clinical services in order to improve both their physical and mental health and wellbeing. A Prior Information Notice (PIN) was published on OJEU on 16/10/2020, notice number 2020/S 205-500568 and also on Contracts Finder (reference M-20-08), regarding this requirement as a call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to assist in Commissioning Intentions. This EOIs process is now closed and the CCG has taken the decision to award a 1-year contract from 1st April 2021. Additional information: This Contract Award Notice is published under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. It is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations ('Regulations'). Accordingly, the contracting authority is only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authority is not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations.
