GB-Newcastle Upon Tyne: Managed Laundry Services - Expressions of Interest

Northumbria University is seeking a managed laundry service for our residential and conference areas located currently at our City Campus. The service will require a like for like replacement of the existing laundry facilities and decoration of new locations when required. An installation programme will be required prioritised by access, existing machine serviceability and availability. A percentage of takings is to be paid to the University. All servicing, maintenance and repair is to be undertaken by the supplier and a refresh of the laundry areas throughout the contract. The supplier is required to work with the University to promote the facilities to the student community.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
