## Description

Westminster City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified consultant to identify options to address the council's forecasted residual emissions and enable WCC to achieve its Net Zero commitment by 2030, closely aligning to the SBTi framework \. At present, it is understood that Local Authorities sit outside of scope for official SBTi targets- despite this, we wish to align to an SBTi target as closely as meaningfully possible, with suggestions on more actionable or appropriate reporting standards welcome from the appointed consultant\.
