Software upgrade fromKongsberg to implement Inter VTS Exchange Format \(IVEF\)\.The Inter-VTS Exchange \(IVEF\) Service is designed to allow the simplified exchange of vessel traffic image information between shore-based e-Navigation systems, such as Vessel Traffic Service \(VTS\) systems\.The IVEF Service enablescloser co-operation and collaboration where VTS centres share information about a common operational area; effective information sharing is a vital component of the overarching aim of contributing to safety of navigation\.
