Provision of Works in Default Respect of a Statutory Notice

Blackpool Council is responsible for the provision of services pertaining to works in default of a statutory notice.

In some circumstances, Environmental Protection Officers may be required to serve a notice on a property owner/ responsible person/tenant, calling on them to carry out works to remedy a problem. A breach of formal notice often results in the council carrying out the required works in default
