Provision of Land Restoration Outlets for Bio-Resource

Scottish Water is seeking to appoint a supplier to provide long term access to suitably licenced land restoration outlets for the recovery of Bio-Resource.

SW require the supplier to guarantee acceptance of Bio-Resource produced by SW, the Bio-Resource will consist of raw sewage cake, water treatment cake, and potentially some treated biosolids.

The Supplier must maintain current and full regulatory permits appropriate to the outlet type.

It is imperative that odours are kept at a minimal level, the Supplier must work with SW to mitigate the impact of odour from the activities of transportation, offloading and recovery to land at the Outlet Sites.
