Work description
NHS East Lancashire CCG is proposing to commission two APMS contracts, which are currently delivered from the following sites: - Leeds Road Surgery, Leeds Road, Nelson, BB9 8EH - Padiham Surgery, Station Road, Padiham, BB12 8EA - Rawtenstall Surgery (Rossendale HC), Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, BB4 7PL; and - the Health Access Centre, Accrington Victoria Hospital, Haywood Road, Accrington, BB5 6AS. The CCG may also be interested in bids for provision of both services where economies of scale offer the best Value for Money without any adverse impact to quality. The aim of all the services is to deliver essential, additional and enhanced services to registered patients of each practice. It is proposed that the terms and conditions of all the services, including tariff arrangements, will reflect those contained in General Medical Services (GMS) contracts. It is envisaged that the contract lengths will be 10 years with an option to extend for a further 5 years subject to satisfactory review. This notice is in relation to 3 lots as follows: Lot 1: NHS East Lancashire CCG is proposing to commission an APMS contract which is currently delivered from the following three sites: - Leeds Road Surgery, Leeds Road, Nelson, BB9 8EH - Padiham Surgery, Station Road, Padiham, BB12 8EA - Rawtenstall Surgery (Rossendale HC), Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, BB4 7PL Lot 2: NHS East Lancashire CCG is proposing to commission an APMS contract which is currently delivered from Accrington. Currently provided from the Health Access Centre, GP Practice, Accrington Victoria Hospital, Haywood Road, Accrington, Lancashire, BB5 6AS. Lot 3: Provision of both of the above lots
A Bidder Day will be held at Wlshaw House, Regent Street , Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 8AS on Wednesday 8 June 2016 for any interested Bidders.
