Hampshire Libraries Go Online

Hampshire County Council have awarded a contract to XMA Limited to trial a Google platform for IT access within the public libraries in Hampshire, which will extend the life of the current IT equipment.

It is a statutory requirement to provide public IT access. In Hampshire, this is provided via PCs situated in 40 public libraries.

If the trial is successful in selected libraries, Hampshire Library Service will be rolled out to the rest of the libraries where IT access is offered.

This contract has been awarded by a Direct Award via the NHS Shared Business Services framework 'Digital Workplace Solutions' reference SBS/19/AB/WAB/9411.
