Description

The contract is for the Service Provider to provide a wide range of prevention, intervention and treatment approaches for residents in East Sussex who use alcohol, legal and illegal drugs. The key outcomes for the Service are (i) Improvements in physical and mental well-being (ii) Improved social, family and community networks (iii) Reduced drug and alcohol related harm (iv) Increased access and engagement to education, training and employment (v) Improved access to, and retention of, suitable accommodation (vi) Reduced offending and re-offending. Additional information: The original contract term was to 31 March 2024 but had an extension option of up to twenty-four months, which has been taken up. The original estimated value was £35,700,000, but subsequent modifications allowed for under PCR 2015 Regulation 72 and the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) have increased the estimated contract value to £39,849,080.
