0800 Telephone services for warm Home Discount Scheme

Description

On 20th July 2022 the Authority issued a contract with supplier Go-centric for provision of Warm Home Discount Helpline services. The service went live on 14th November2022. However , Go-centric went into liquidation on 2nd December 2022.Firstcom was the service provider to Go-centric for the 0800 telephone services since 14th November 2022.The department of BEIS are managing the contract centre services since the supplier Go-Centric went into liquidation.Firstcom is the subcontractor to Go-centric and provides the 0800 services and owns the number.BEIS had to direct award the business to Firstcom as a result of main supplier going into liquidation to avoid disruption to service which was already live.
