Work description
The Isle of Wight Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers who can deliver an integrated specialist sexual health service model that aims to improve sexual health by providing easy access to services, at the right place at the right time meeting the needs of residents of the Isle of Wight. This will be through an open access service, focused on improving sexual health, reducing STIs and meeting contraceptive need, usually by one health professional. It is expected that the integrated sexual health service will be innovative utilising digital interventions and new ways of working with a number of stakeholders, settings and organisations to improve efficiency and reduce duplication for both the service and the service users alike. The service will include preventative work and psychosexual counselling provision. The service will work to ensure links and pathways to key services including termination of pregnancy services and HIV treatment and care which are currently commissioned separately by the CCG and NHS England respectively.
Additional information: The term of the contract shall be 01 April 2019 until 31 March 2024 with the option to extend for up to a further two years in two 12 month tranches at the discretion of the Authority. The maximum annual budget available for this contract is £920,000. The Authority cannot accept Tenders above the allocated budget.
