Southwell Flood Alleviation - Halam Road super gully connections

It is proposed to install 5 no. super gullies at the edge of the carriageway with an outlet pipe of 300mm internal diameter that will outlet from the vegetated bank and run through a section of concrete canvas into the into the existing concrete drainage channel around the south side of the pond.

To install the drainage for the super gullies, it is required to drill 5 no. holes from the carriageway of Halam Road to the vegetated bank on the south side of the pond in the adjacent land. The length of the outlet drains from the rear of the super gullies to the outlet on the vegetated bank range from 12.6m to 14.6m in length.
