EKFB JV - Wastewater Disposal

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.

EKFB are looking for the following services which shall include but not necessarily be limited to:

Waste contractor is to provide skip exchanges and removal of soils, aggregates and bituminous mixtures, some of which may be contaminated. Prior to waste removal testing will be undertaken by EKFB to confirm contamination, if required. Possible contaminants are listed below.

1. Groundwater

2. Surface water - TPH - Concrete

3. Road sweeping arisings - TPH / PAH

4. Soils - TPH / PAH - PCB - Asbestos

5. Aggregates - TPH / PAH

6. Bituminous mixtures - Coal tar

7. Used COSSH
