ESPH SB Economic and Retail Studies for Wealden Local Plans (ESPH131) - AWARD

Wealden District Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to undertake a joint retail, economy and town centre study as evidence for the Wealden Local Plan. Work has already started in the assessment of options, however further work is required to fulfil the requirements of the National Panning Policy Framework and the Planning Practice Guidance in relation to the economy, retail provision and town centres.

This project is pivotal to the Wealden Local Plan, and its outcomes will help form the basis of the strategy for the development of the District until 2037. The contractor will work alongside the Council sharing expertise in these fields of work to complement the work being undertaken on the other areas of the Local Plan.
