Provision and hosting of replacement council website

Quotations are invited for the provision and hosting of a replacement council website

The Council is replacing its existing council website – www.tewkesbury.gov.uk

An in-house project is currently underway at the council to develop an internal solution to provide the website but the council is seeking quotes for the provision of a replacement website as a fall-back position if this in-house option cannot deliver.

The primary reasons for replacing the council website are:

• Production of a modern and responsive designed website to aid the delivery of the Council’s digital strategy. The Council’s digital strategy needs a well-designed website that works well on all devices accessing it and gets customers to where they need to be quickly and easily

• Reduction in operating costs for licensing, maintenance and hosting as the council needs to respond to significant budget pressure

• The new website needs to be easy to update and edit, so our staff can keep the content current with low effort and minimal technical knowledge.
