First Contact Practitioners & Roadmap Supervision

Masters level modules for First contact health practitioners.

Health Education England (HEE - the Authority) commenced a tender for the provision of masters level modules and portfolio management for first contact practitioners FCP.

FCPs are diagnostic clinicians working at master's level in a variety of roles (currently the following Roadmaps to Practice have been developed; Podiatry, Paramedics, Musculoskeletal, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy) managing complexity and uncertainty at the first point of contact. AHPs are eligible to become an FCP providing they have a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience (including 3 years MSK experience if working in an MSK role) and hold appropriate professional registration.
