Work description
Masters level modules for First contact health practitioners.
Health Education England (HEE - the Authority) commenced a tender for the provision of masters level modules and portfolio management for first contact practitioners FCP.
FCPs are diagnostic clinicians working at master's level in a variety of roles (currently the following Roadmaps to Practice have been developed; Podiatry, Paramedics, Musculoskeletal, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy) managing complexity and uncertainty at the first point of contact. AHPs are eligible to become an FCP providing they have a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience (including 3 years MSK experience if working in an MSK role) and hold appropriate professional registration. They are required to complete training detailed in their role specific Roadmap to Practice including mapping to the KSA document. FCPs role includes:
