Work description
NOTE: This notice was updated on 28 February 2017 for the following reason: Amended title.Ashfield District Council is seeking to form a partnership arrangement with a single contractor to undertake the following elements;
1.) Gas appliance servicing (rolling 11 month programme). 2.) Solid fuel appliance servicing (rolling 11 month programme). 3.) Smoke alarm servicing (rolling 11 month programme). 4.) Gas carcass pipe work inspection (rolling 11 month programme). 5.) Domestic electrical inspection condition report programme to domestic properties (5 year rolling programme of approximately 1360 properties per annum). 6.) Electrical inspection condition report programme to communal areas (5 year rolling programme, 1/5th of total per annum). 7.) Electrical testing of street columns, including corrosion test / conditional survey (7yr rolling programme of approximately 30 columns per annum). 8.) Completion of an annual domestic services survey sheet on attendance at each property to conduct servicing and maintenance. 9.) Supply and installation of domestic central heating systems. 10.) Annual service, maintenance and repair of communal, commercial heating systems, including fuel management for 2No bio-mass boilers. 11.) As and when required, day-to-day support to the Responsive Repairs & Voids Maintenance service in-line with Ashfield District Council's repairs priority guidelines for: Heating Repairs Plumbing repairs Electrical repairs Solid fuel repairs 13.) As and when required, support ADC's Emergency Standby Repairs Service for out of hours and make safe repairs and maintenance for a number of the aforementioned repairs categories. The successful tenderer must ensure that suitable operatives are used for out of hours repairs, so as to ensure emergency repairs are remedied in one visit wherever possible.
