Streets for All Middleton

Description

To develop a detailed 'Streets for All' proposal. With the aim of Transforming Middleton's Streets so they perform better for all people and businesses that use them. It is an essential component of out an ambitious programme of streets projects that will help deliver TFGMs Streets for All Vision, and enable more people to travel by foot, bike, and public transport. The purpose of this document is to select a consultant team that could deliver this feasibility study into and potential future studies into Streets for All in Middleton. Delivery of this commission will require a multi-disciplinary team that has experience of delivering transformative bus priority, place-based urban realm improvements, and active travel infrastructure, in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Importantly, successful delivery of this project will require effective partnership working with Council officers and Members, TfGM departments (Metrolink, Bus Operations, UTC and HFAS), bus operators, and local stakeholders, to ensure proposals meet local needs and are deliverable.
