## Description

A framework that will inform recommendations to ministers on the procurement and manufacture of drugs for the treatment of COVID-19, potentially incurring significant expenditure at risk\. This decision-making framework will be used alongside the clinical expertise already available to the department such as the Chief Medical Officer \(CMO\) and Deputy Chief Medical Officer's \(DCMO\) assessment of treatments data\.
