Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Solutions

Milton Keynes Council will work closely with the Supplier/s to install, operate, and maintain, the electric vehicle Infrastructure in general accordance with the Council's sustainability and parking strategies for a trial period. The Supplier will operate the service (as set out below) as an independent operator in accordance with these strategic directions.

Milton Keynes Council will work closely with up to 2 Suppliers to install, operate and maintain, the electric vehicle Infrastructure. This is a trial to test the viability and impact of the technology on the street furniture, roads, pedestrians and others. The trial is for 100 charge points with 50 each to be allocated to the 2 top bidding suppliers using the evaluation criteria set out below. If less than 2 or are secured it will be awarded to any successful bidding supplier, we do have. The trial is for an initial 12-month period. . To ensure the data is collected from the trial to its fullest once an award has been issued installation must have commenced within 2 months of issuing the award letter otherwise the award may be withdrawn.
