Safer Surfacing Repairs Contract

Description

Banbury Town Council is seeking a contractor to undertake repairs to wet pour and bonded rubber safer surfaces in play areas across the town. This could be a rolling programme of work that may take 2 or more years to complete with this current financial year being this first phase of the work that is required. The successful contractor will be expected to undertake these repairs across a number of sites in the town working through the findings from the last annual inspection in October 2019 working through those sites with the highest risk factor items first, dealing with all work identified on each site to avoid returning to the site on another occasion. Tenders are to be sent in both on memory sticks and in hard copy format, which has to be returned to our Southam Road Cemetery Depot, Southam Road, Banbury OX16 2FW as our main office at the Town Hall in Banbury is currently closed during the coronavirus pandemic. If the office at the depot is unoccupied when delivery is due either from Royal Mail or courier service, please contact the Client Officer beforehand so that receipt of Tenders can take place. Tenders will not be accepted electronically via email or with any packages/ envelopes marked by any company details or logos. Tenders will be opened after the closing date of NOON (12.00pm) on Friday 17th July 2020 with the successful tenderer/ contractor notified ASAP after this with a prospective start date on site of the 31st August 2020 for completion by the end of September 2020.
