## Description

A contract to run the National Europass Centre on behalf of the UK\. Europass is an EU initiative created to increase employment mobility\. Every EU & EEA country has a National Europass Centre coordinating all activities related to the Europass documents, dealing with enquiries and promoting the service\. Additional information: The 'contract' transferred from BEIS to DfE in the Machinery of Government changes on 1st April 2017\. However, it was found that the formal agreement had expired at BEIS in 2014\. This contract was put in place as a direct award following business case and efficiency control approval in October 2017 to enable continuity of provision until EU Exit\.
