Work description
The core purpose of this contract is to allow the department to commission projects at short notice to meet the evidence need as Universal Credit (UC) Full Service is rolled out. The development of UC Full Service is based upon agile principles and therefore we need the flexibility to commission short and long term projects as determined by the UC programme. This is a crucial period for the roll out of UC as the criteria for eligibility to the UC Full Service is wider than for UC Live Service claims. This provides the UC programme with the opportunity to gather early evidence on a wider range of claimant sub groups, for example, vulnerable groups, claimants with health conditions and the self-employed.
