Blackpool and The Fylde College - Nuclear Fission & Fusion Simulator

Blackpool and The Fylde college is currently developing a newly validated nuclear engineering degree programme .

This will be located in our new Energy Centre from September 2017.

This will be a hardware and software solution.

The software programme will be required to incorporate the use of a virtual simulated environment that relates to the nuclear industry. This will need to incorporate a virtual educational environment to demonstrate the processes of nuclear fission and fusion through energy supply to end users.

Currently, the College in undertaking early market engagement to help determine the supply market for this specialist equipment and any potential supplier wishing to work with the College prior to formal tender will need to register using the details provided within this notice.
