Qaunt Studio 6 PCR System

The project for which this instrument will be used is part of a coordinated three-lab team.(UKCEH, Universities of Cranfield and Middlesex) The team requires the use of the exact same kit as it is the easiest and strongest way to ensure comparability of data. The instrument we chose is already in operation in two of the three labs and this request is to secure the same kit in UKCEH. Moreover, this kit is uniquely compatible with the Laboratory Information Management System that we have secured. As such, data comparability and compatibility is uniquely ensured through the procurement of this specific instrument.
