Work description
This contract has already been awarded and is published for transparency purposes.
The Government, with cross-party support, is committed to establishing a new National Memorial to the Holocaust, at Victoria Tower Gardens in Westminster. The Memorial will be integrated with an underground Learning Centre which will set the Holocaust within the British narrative, historically, politically and culturally.
The Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is leading the project on behalf of the Government.
MHCLG, as the Applicant seeking planning consent, is now preparing for a Public Inquiry. As part of those preparations we are looking to engage legal advisers.
MHCLG is therefore assembling a team of experienced professional advisers who can work with the departmental project team and ensure that the case for planning consent is presented as effectively as possible.
The appointment will be for the duration of the period from appointment until the inquiry. It will extend to any appeal/judicial review thereafter until the conclusion of proceedings.
This contract is a call-off via the CCS - General Legal Advice Services framework (ref RM 3786) Lot 1.
