EKFB JV - Mechanical & Electrical Works for Green Tunnel Portal Building Mechanical Cooling System Package

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5 km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.

EKFB are looking for a competent contractor to provide the mechanical cooling system.

Duty sharing, cooling-only, and low wall-mounted indoor units are to be supplied for the MNO Comms room and HS2 Comms room A & B, while high wall-mounted indoor units are designated for Battery Room A & B. Each indoor unit must come equipped with complete mounting brackets and necessary accessories for installation within the designated rooms, along with condensate pipes and relevant fittings.

Every indoor unit must be accompanied by a wall-mounted controller to regulate its operation within the respective room. The controller should feature a digital display that presents key operational functions of the indoor units, such as room temperature, setpoint temperature, programmable schedules, and other relevant information.
