Independent 2nd line assurance for Griffin Park

Description

Griffin Park achieved Completion December 2017, despite representations made by the CNC, and the 12-month defects period expired in December 2018. To enable CNC to take occupation and prepare for their College of Policing (CoP) Licence, it has been agreed for CNC and NDA to jointly instruct an independent review of the required assurance documentation. The purpose of the review is provide evidence based confidence that the assurance process undertaken to date has adequately covered all aspects of the building and its associated building systems to allow safe occupation and efficient operation and maintenance of the facility over its lifecycle. The baseline documentation for this review will be the 'Works Information' from the Agreement for Lease, which is understood to be back to back within the 'Works Information' Morgan Sindall building contract (as varied through any agreed Compensation Events or Project Manager Instructions).
