## Description

UKRI-STFC is contracted to supply critical front end receiver technologies for a fleet of spaceborne satellites as a part of the MetOp-SG programme\. RAL Space will provide state -of-the-art receiver \(detector\) front-ends to three instruments on the MetOp-SG satellite mission\. Several of the receivers will include IF processing units \(IPUs\) containing alumina ceramic Printed Circuit Boards \(PCBs\) featuring a number of specialised soldered surface mount components that allow operation within the radio frequency range\. These IPU modules will provide state-of-the-art gain flatness vs\. frequency and gain stability vs\. temperature and therefore represent critical components for MetOp-SG\. This requirement is for verification of IF processing units and IPU assembly
