GB-Basildon: Wickford Community Centre Relocation

NOTE: This notice was updated on 29 October 2018 for the following reason: The amendment has been made due the change of tender return deadline(The regeneration of Wickford Town Centre is a key priority for the Council. A significant site to enable this town centre regeneration is the current Wickford Community Centre site adjoined by the Library and Willows Shopping Centre in Market Road, Wickford. Basildon Borough Council requirement under this Contract is proposed to relocate the Community Centre to a new building on the North East corner of Nevendon Recreation Ground. The new Community Centre is planned to sit in alongside the existing skate park. The existing Nevendon Play Centre will be demolished with new facilities provided in the new Community Centre.)

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
