Evaluation of mentoring professional development programmes

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is seeking a tenderer to carry out an independent evaluation of its professional development programmes for mentors in the Further Education (FE) sector. The overall aim of this project is to carry out an independent evaluation of the delivery of the two professional development programmes in 2020/21 academic year. The programme is being delivered by a single delivery partner who will establish small cohorts of participants across the country. The development programme for mentors in FE consists of four different strands of activity: 1. The creation of a mentoring framework and accompanying guides for mentees, mentors and leaders in the FE sector. 2. A small-scale, desk-based review of effective mentoring training. 3. Financial support for mentoring professional development in the FE sector. 4. Professional development programmes for mentors. We are seeking a tenderer to evaluate the fourth strand of activity.
