Description

The Authority is moving from a single prime supplier model that delivers its entire data and telephony network, voice and video services, managed infrastructure and data centre support and maintenance requirements to a multi-supplier model including some self-provision. The Authority sought and selected a Supplier to implement and provide a solution for data access services and local connectivity services (lots 1 and 2 under the Crown Commercial Service's RM1045 Network Services framework). The main overarching services that the Supplier is required to provide are: • Gateway Services and management access: access to the Crown Hosting Data Centre and 12 sites of which 9 have Local Server Rooms. This will enable secure access to the platforms and applications hosted on the Authority's infrastructure; • Connectivity: architecture will provide continuity for ICT services as well as providing connectivity to support the Authority's Digitisation and Sourcing Programme. Additional information: The initial term is 48 months with the option to extend by two 12-month periods, at the Authority's discretion.
