Award of Public Health contract - Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - Food and Health Team [re-named from Healthy4Life Childhood Obesity Dietetic Service]

Award Notice - The Authority commissions a range of public health services, some of which are identified by the Health and Social Care Act as mandatory, which are covered by utilising a nursing element to ensure that areas have a greater uniformity of provision especially where they are legally required. Public health services includes a duty to ensure the plans are in place to protect the health of the population. The Authority required the services via Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust the Authority will not be compliant with statutory duties. The Nursing element of Healthy 4 Life the programme offers the support to enable families to reduce overweight and obesity.
