## Description

In Spring 2023, The Prime Minister announced the creation of new government departments\. This Machinery of Government \(MOG\) involved the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy being split into 3: the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology \(DSIT\), the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero \(DESNZ\) and the Department for Business and Trade \(DBT\)\. There is a need following on from the MOG to transfer and migrate the Email Mailboxes and One Drives from ex-BEIS staff into the newly formed DBT Microsoft Tenant\. DDaT \(the Technology team\) are looking to provide a solution for the secure migration of these personal data stores immediately to allow exBEIS to fully migrate onto DBT devices and create the final single IT Platform approached that is one of the Perm Sec's declared objectives\.
