Independent Chair for Warrington Safeguarding Adults Board

Warrington Borough Council is seeking tender applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of Independent Chair of Warrington Safeguarding Adults Board. Duties will involve: Overseeing the development and implementation of an overall strategy and business plan and to ensure that this reflects learning from safeguarding adult reviews, audits, and other activity. Integrating performance management into the role and function of the Adult Safeguarding Board and its sub-groups to deliver improved outcomes for adults at risk. Overseeing the performance management of the Board's overall strategy and business plan and ensure that the plan maintains a clear focus on impact. Encourage and support the Board to work collaboratively and effectively. The contract will initially run for a period of two years with a one year optional extension.
