Work description
National Highways is looking to set up a contract for the review and cleansing of CHE memos. This task will undertake a comprehensive review of the current process of CHE memos including roles and responsibilities around production, governance, approval and publication of CHE memos, its implementation across the business and how they are communicated to the supply chain. When the review is completed, findings will be discussed with the business and any changes needed to improve the CHE memo process will be agreed with the business and the new and improved process with robust governance will be established and communicated to the business. Thereafter, a detail review of the currency of each CHE memo will be undertaken and a list compiled that will indicate which CHE memos can be withdrawn. Once listed, the task will include working with the CHE memo owner to compile an explanation as to why the CHE memo should be withdrawn. Subsequently, assist the CHE Memo owner to go through the new governance process to gain approval to withdraw the CHE Memo identified and following approval ensure the CHE Memo is withdrawn. Our records show that around 100 of 200 CHE memos have not been withdrawn.
