Government funded (BSIP) scheme to create significant improvement in mobility and providing greater access to residents and visitors across the county. The aim is to ensure that DDRT is integrated seamlessly into the transport network, connecting with rail, conventional bus services and Mobility Hubs. 1 of 10 zones. This contract has been awarded. Additional Information End date stated is the initial term only. If the Department for Transport (DfT) agree to an extension of a further year, the contract will end on 31/03/2026. Value stated includes extension period but does not include a charge for operational mileage. This value is also gross spend and does not take into account any revenue received by the Council.

As of 01st April 2025, the council will utilise the 1-year extension permitted in the original tender documentation and subsequent contract letters. The extended contract will now end on 31st March 2026. There will be no changes to the specification.
