## Description

Contract Award-Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Hart District Council \(the council\) currently operates a combined fleet of approximately 70 road registered vehicles and 20 items of plant equipment that require tyres and related services\. These services are to include but are not limited to; replacement of worn or damaged tyres either at the supplier’s premises or council depot, the provision of a call out and roadside emergency service and the provision of a regular tyre and wheel inspection schedule to ensure safe and continuous running of the fleet\. The council is looking to appoint a contractor to supply an efficient and reliable service as detailed in the specification within this document\. The contract will be for a period of two years with an optional extension of up to one year\. The Council utilised an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with tenderers\. All responses were conducted via the ProContract system available here: http://sebp\.due-north\.com/ Additional information: The Council utilised an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers\.
